For the a few years there has been this controversy about carbohydrates and whether they are good or bad for us. Recent studies have found that our brain utilize 100% of it's energy source from carbohydrates, therefore if we reduce our intake of carbs (aside from the fact that they are delicious... I'm going to be a little bias but What would life be without carbs) We will have a decreased brain function. It will affect our memory functions and possibly some other brain function. The key is picking the appropriate sources of carbs. We find a large amount of carbohydrates in fruits, grains and vegetables. So load up on carbs to keep your memory at it's peak.
